Middle School Game Camp

Hosted by the School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering

Grades: 6-8

Game Camp is a unique experience for middle and high school students in intensive video game creation, visualization and production.

Why just play video games when you can learn to create and produce your own? Hosted by the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, Game Camp is a unique, hands-on opportunity for middle and high school students to learn intensive video game creation, visualization and production. You will use the latest software, hardware and development tools to create concepts and prototypes for 2-D and 3-D video gaming.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, this summer’s camps will be offered remotely online instead of face-to-face ones. Each camp will have three hours online lectures using Zoom from Monday to Friday. Each day will feature the same lecture in the morning and afternoon, campers can choose either lecture (or both). PC or Mac is required to join the Zoom lecture, and some software is asked to install beforehand.
