High School App Camp

Would you rather spend your time playing around on a smartphone app, or would you rather try to create your own? This summer, you could create the next big thing! App Camp (Tempe campus; high school) The High School App Camp focuses on teaching fundamentals of programming and computational thinking through iPhone app development. While learning principles of programming camp participants will receive the skills and knowledge needed to create and deploy their apps on the Apple App Store. Course material will be covered using a hands-on approach that helps participants to learn challenging concepts through practice. Camp participants enjoy one-on-one interaction with instructors in a small class settings. Some Key topics include: Apple XCode, Programming Language foundations using Swift, user interface design, mobile application design and development considerations, interfacing with the web, and foundations of debugging source code.
