Inspiring students to experience the exciting world of STEM
FIRST® LEGO League is a global program created to get children excited about science, technology, engineering and mathematics. FLL utilizes theme-based challenges to help children discover the fun in solving real-world problems through robots, research projects and teamwork. FLL emphasizes learning, community involvement and friendly sportsmanship.
FLL challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. During FLL tournaments teams build, test and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS® to solve a set of missions in the robot game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under FLL’s signature set of core values.

What do AZFLL volunteers do? They make AZFLL a success! Teams need mentors and the tournaments depend on volunteers for everything from setup and check-in to judging and scorekeeping.
Arizona FIRST Lego League is currently seeking volunteers to serve as judges, referees, scorekeepers, and more for our 16 tournaments occurring across the state in November, December and January.
