Arizona high school students are invited to join in a virtual engineering design competition hosted by the AZ TriU Engineering Partnership: the University of Arizona, Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University.
Participants will attend online seminars, consult with experts, and work in groups to come up with engineering solutions for a clearly-defined problem. With the support of engineering undergraduate students, peers, and faculty, teams (of two to five students) will utilize engineering design concepts to create their own unique strategies. Final team solutions will be critiqued by a panel of professional judges.
Prizes will be awarded for best solution, most innovative solution, and best engineering notebook (documentation).
Seminars, panel discussions and facilitated team meetings will be held on June 15-18, 2021 and the winners of The Challenge will be announced on June 21, 2021.
