Cost: $375/participant ($25 non-refundable registration fee, $350 program fee)
The camp fee includes a T-shirt, SEE@ASU workbook (physical copy), materials for hands-on activities, and Fulton Schools gift items. The camp fee also grants access to the Canvas learning course for the duration of camp plus an additional two weeks after camp is over.

Because we are operating remotely, we will not be accepting payment by check. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Cancellations/Refunds: Refunds for the program fee ($350) are available through June 14th.

Scholarship/Fee Reduction Request: We understand that cost can sometimes be prohibitive, and strive to lessen that barrier when possible for those in need. If you’re interested in receiving a scholarship/fee reduction for camp, please complete the Scholarship/Fee Reduction Request form below. Scholarships/fee reductions will be evaluated on a rolling, first-come-first-serve basis. Please allow 1-2 business days for notification about your scholarship status. If granted a scholarship, the participant will be given a specific registration link that shows the discounted amount during payment. The participant will have 48 hours after notification to complete their registration and submit payment.

Registration fees for our SEE@ASU and Summer Academy programs are utilized to support the Fulton Schools Outreach and Recruitment program operations and scholarship programs.

Technical Platforms and Requirements

Students will participate in activities through two platforms: Canvas and Zoom:

  • Canvas is a classroom-style platform that will be used for recorded video lecturers, readings, activities, and assignments.
  • Zoom will be used for interactive lectures and activities, informational webinars, and team meetings. Interactive sessions will have appropriate safety measures in place to maintain a safe, private, and productive learning environment.

Students must have access to a computer/laptop with a reliable high-speed internet connection. Students are also strongly encouraged to have a web camera, either integrated or external, to be used for team meetings and interactive sessions.

Schedule and Activities

Daily Schedule:
The below schedule is tentative and may evolve before the start of camp. There will be multiple short breaks throughout the sessions to help alleviate Zoom fatigue.

     9AM – 12PM: Morning Session
     12PM – 1PM: Lunch Break
     1PM – 4PM: Afternoon Session
     4PM – 5PM: Team Meetings/Project Time
     5PM – 6PM: Optional Social Hour

The morning and afternoon sessions will be structured to include approximately two hours of active learning with a simulation, activity, or Zoom meeting/presentation from a faculty member, followed by one hour of individual learning to complete the learning modules. Students will also be assigned to a team on the first day of camp and will be tasked with an engineering challenge that culminates in a virtual showcase on the last day of camp.

There will be optional evening programming for participants every day except Friday. Evening programming will include virtual games and team-building activities.

What types of activities will I be doing?
Each day participants will engage with one or two of Fulton’s six schools of engineering. The live activities and learning modules will provide a deeper understanding of the particular engineering disciplines within that school. Our outstanding faculty are still planning this years’ activities, but below you can check out the activities that students participated in last summer.
